Building an Oracle Report with a Barcode

Before building a report which contains barcode, follow all the required setup steps. These are detailed in the post:

1. Develop a simple report with data model which looks like this:

2. Design the layout as shown below:

3. Provide a format trigger on the layout field if barcode encoding is needed:

4. Run the report. The report will display the barcode as shown below
