While doing development, we may be working across different oracle apps instances (Say Dev instance, Test instance, CRP Instance etc.,) in parallel, so it is always better to have different color schemes to avoid confusion for different instances.
We have to change the following system profiles in order to change the look & feel and color appearance of oracle apps.
The Color Scheme profile is dependent on the Look and Feel profile.
Do the following:
a. Login to Oracle Applications as the System Administrator responsibility.
b. Navigate to Profile > System.
c. Ensure that the Site display is checked.
d. Check the ‘Java Look and feel’ profile is set to ORACLE
e. Query up 'Java Color Scheme' for the profile.
f. Select the appropriate color under the Site column.
g. Save the selection.
h. Sign off and login back (or change responsibility) for the new color scheme
to take effect.
Note: The 'Java Color Scheme' profile has no effect if 'Java Look and
Feel' is set to GENERIC.
- Java Look and Feel: Java Look and Feel can have two values: GENERIC or ORACLE.
If set to GENERIC, then set Java Color Scheme to blank.
If set to ORACLE (or if the value is left blank), then the profile option
'Java Color Scheme' can be used to personalize the colors of your screen.
'Java Color Scheme' can be used to personalize the colors of your screen.
- Java Color Scheme:If 'Java Look and Feel' is set to ORACLE (or if the value is left blank), then 'Java Color Scheme' can be set to the following values:
· Blaf
