How to Find Correct Version of J developer. Why it is needed?
When we make any extension to an OA Framework Page we have to use the Jdeveloper shipped by the Oracle ebusiness product Team. Jdeveloper version is specific to ATG Patch set.
To Find the Correct Version of Jdeveloper follow below steps:
- Identify OA Frame Work Instance for the oracle Application.
- Activate diagnostics in your Instance
- Click the "About This Page" from any OAF page.
- Then Click on "Technology Components" tab.
- OA Frame Work Version would be displayed on TOP row
- Match this version with the patch Set for JDeveloper.
Once version for the OA Framework is know it can be mapped with the patch set number for J Developer. This patch set List and required mapping will be shared in oracle support.com.
